From July 9 to 10, Wang Tongzhou, CCCG Chairman, conducted investigation on targeted assistance in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province.

On the morning of July 9, Wang Tongzhou and his delegation attended the groundbreaking ceremony of a school with 9-year compulsory education in Lushui. Wang Tongzhou said in his speech that CCCG will continue to support the development of education in Nujiang, actively assist in the construction of school facilities and software for online education, strengthen areas of weakness in education, and help Nujiang shift its policies from poverty alleviation to educational development, so as to contribute to the economic development and the comprehensive rural revitalization of Nujiang. At the ceremony, the guests laid the foundation stone for the CCCG Lushui New Era Hope School.

Afterwards, Wang Tongzhou and his delegation went to Fugong County to attend the opening ceremony of Fugong Munima Bridge. The bridge, which was funded, designed and built by CCCG and its subsidiaries, officially opened to traffic. Wang Tongzhou announced the official opening of the bridge at the ceremony. And the guests cut the ribbon for the bridge.

On the afternoon of July 9, Wang Tongzhou and his delegation visited a middle school in Fugong County, a border model village in Fugong County, a dragon fruit planting base in Daxingdi Township, Lushui City, a green spice industrial park and other CCCG’s assistance projects in Nujiang. He listened to the planning and construction of the projects, and also visited an exchange center of poverty alleviation in Nujiang.

On the morning of July 10, a seminar of CCCG’s investigation in Nujiang was held here.

Wang Tongzhou warmly congratulated Nujiang, which once suffered overall regional poverty, on its achievement in poverty alleviation, calling it a "millennium leap". He said that CCCG has firmly fulfilled its responsibility as a central enterprise to help Nujiang fully resolved the prominent problems in assuring the rural poor population that their food and clothing needs are met and guaranteeing that they have access to compulsory education, basic medical services, and safe housing, and has laid a foundation for combining the results of poverty eradication with rural revitalization. CCCG will, based on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, build a new development paradigm, do its duty well in the top-level design of the targeted assistance, give full play to the advantages of CCCG, and actively participate in the construction of infrastructure, living environment and industrial services in Nujiang Prefecture. CCCG will continue to support the development of Nujiang with continuous investment of capital and personnel, with a view to helping Nujiang build a model of rural revitalization in the region.
