CCCC project signing ceremony is witnessed by Afghan President
On January 8, witnessed by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani,
CRBC and the Ministry of Public Works of Afghanistan signed an agreement on repairing
and reconstructing the highway from Dare-e-Sof to Yakawlang at the
Presidential Palace in Kabul.
With a full length of 178 kilometers, the
project will be constructed in accordance with the standards of Chinese
second-class highways. Predominated by mountain highways, with an altitude of
3,600 meters in some sections, the project has a large earthwork volume. With a
construction period of three years and a half, funded by the Asian Development
Bank, the project is a traffic artery linking northern Afghanistan's Bamiyan
Province and Samangan
Province, as well as an important part
South-North Corridor Plan.
