CCCC, AML conclude EPC agreement on Sierra Leone iron ore shipping project


On December 7, CCCC and African Minerals Limited (AML) concluded an EPC agreement on Tonkolili iron ore shipment system. Among attendees were Chairman Zhou Jichang, Vice President Chen Yusheng and Chen Fenjian; Chairman Frank Timis and CEO Alan Watling of AML; Liu Hao, deputy director-general of the Bureau of International Cooperation, China Development Bank, as well as relevant leaders of Chinese partners including China Railway Materials Commercial Corp. and Shandong Iron and Steel Group. Chen Fenjian and Timis signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties.

Under the agreement, CCCC will undertake the EPC construction of Tonkolili iron ore shipment system, including railways and ports, with a contract value of 3 billion yuan. The signing of the super large project fully displays the company’s comprehensive service strength in the full course of the industry chain, including planning, design, construction, supply, logistics and operation, marking the company’s initial breakthrough in overseas railway construction.
