Phase 4 of Nansha Area of Guangzhou Port is won by Fourth Harbour Engineering

Recently Fourth Harbour Engineering has won the bid for the hydraulic and civil works of Phase 4 of Nansha Area of Guangzhou Port, with a contract amount of over RMB 2,357 million and a construction period of 731 days.

The project involves foundation treatment, hydraulic structure engineering, road yard engineering, navigation, communications, automation control, water supply and drainage, fire protection, environmental protection, CCTV monitoring poles and towers in the port area, gantry crane and shore crane anchoring mechanisms, etc.

As the first new large automatic container terminal project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the project is of great significance to exploring smart port construction, strengthening the interconnection between harbor industries in the port area and enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of the port cluster in the Pearl River Delta. After its completion, the project will improve the comprehensive through capacity and modernization level of Guangzhou Port, and become an important node connecting the Pan Pearl River Delta to Belt and Road countries and regions.
