Shanghai's largest inland waterway regulation survey & design project is won by Third Harbour Consultants

Recently Third Harbour Consultants has won the bid for the survey and design of Youdungang waterway regulation project in association with Shanghai Urban Construction and Design Research Institute and Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute, with a contract amount of RMB 350 million.


With a full length of 36.47 kilometers, Youdungang waterway is located in the west of downtown Shanghai. With a total investment of RMB 14,000 million, the project involves waterway widening and deepening measuring 36.2 kilometers, bank protection construction measuring 54.6 kilometers, the construction of two harbor and shipping administration stations and other auxiliary facilities, the construction and reconstruction of 21 cross-river bridges, the construction of Youdungang second-line ship lock and Dongdaying second-line ship lock, etc.
