Urumqi highway project is won by CCCC consortium with contract value of RMB 6,000 million

On September 25, a consortium initiated by Investment Company in association with CCCC Fund, Second Harbour Engineering and Third Harbour Engineering won the bid for a road PPP project in Urumqi, Xinjiang, with a total investment of RMB 6,000 million.


The project is a municipal infrastructural project. Implemented in the mode of "PPP + EPC + government payment", the project includes two sub-projects. With a full length of 23.2 kilometers, a cooperation period of 14 years, a construction period of 4 years and an operation period of 10 years, sub project 1 was planned as an expressway from Nanshan Eco-tourism Base in Urumqi County to Western 2nd Ring; with a full length of 5.7 kilometers, an overpass length of 5.3 kilometers, a cooperation period of 11 years, a construction period of 1 year and an operation period of 10 years, sub project 2 is the east extension of the overpass from Karamay Road to Nanhu East & West Road in the window-shaped expressway network.
