Highway PPP Project Package in Xinjiang is Won by CCCC with Contract Value of RMB 70,800 Million

has recently won the bid for a PPP highway project package in Xinjiang,
including Urumqi-Yuli Highway,
with a total investment of some RMB 70,800 million.
With a total length of some 1,308 kilometers, the
project has five sub-projects including Urumqi-Yuli Highway (G0711) and will be
implemented in the mode of "PPP + BOT + viability gap funding".
Located in the core zone of Xinjiang in the New Silk Road Economic Belt, the
project will further enhance the efficient and convenient land channel linking
China to Central Asia and South Asia, and play a significant role in building
Xinjiang into the core area of the "Belt and Road", constructing
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and promoting the social and economic
development of southern Xinjiang.
