Garbage Power Generation Project in Angola is Signed by CHEC

On July 18, CHEC and Angola's Ministry of Environment held the signing ceremony of the contract for the project of garbage power generation and supporting facilities in Luanda.

With a total contract value of USD 195 million, the project involves the construction of garbage incineration power generation facilities, garbage sorting facilities, brick factories and other auxiliary facilities.

Garbage power generation is a new field. After its completion, as Angola's first garbage power plant, the project will help the Angolan government address the problem of urban garbage disposal and alleviate the problem of power shortage in Luanda, capital of Angola.
