The Neijiang-Zigong-Luzhou Section of the Mianyang-Luzhou High-speed Railway in southwest China’s Sichuan Province commenced operation on June 28, bringing the high-speed rail service to Luzhou and Zigong in southern Sichuan for the first time.
The rail section, partly built by CCCC, stretches 128 km from Neijiang to Zigong city and all the way to Luzhou in southern Sichuan. Upon opening of the Mianyang-Luzhou High-speed Railway, the cities of Luzhou and Zigong will fully integrate into the national high-speed rail network. It will form a half-hour traffic circle in southern Sichuan and one-hour traffic circle with Chengdu and Chongqing. Our team members are also proud of building the 2,704-meter-long Neijiang Sanyuan Tuojiang Railway Bridge, which is a key part and the longest mega bridge along the Mianyang-Luzhou high-speed rail line.
