Alpine ski trails for Winter Olympics certified by FIS

All world-class alpine ski trails of the National Alpine Skiing Centre in the Yanqing competition zone for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games have been certified by the International Ski Federation (FIS) and are ready for later test events, following certification of the trails D2 and G1 on November 13. The two trails built were highly recognized by both FIS and the Beijing Organizing Committee for Beijing 2022, meeting the requirements for hosting the events. The National Alpine Skiing Centre involves establishment of 7 ski slopes, each stretching for about 10 km, with the largest vertical drop reaching 900 m, making the snow making and construction particularly challenging.
