The Keffi-Makurdi expressway reconstruction and expansion project in Nigeria, built by CHEC, held a charity donation at Angwan Mayo Secondary school, donating cultural and sports supplies and epidemic prevention materials such as books and face masks.

Mr. Steven, the principal of the school, said that the gifts of books are particularly important to them, and they will make good use of these books so that students can benefit from them and improve their knowledge. He also hopes the project progresses smoothly, to benefit the local area better and faster.

In addition, to ensure the safety of students in schools surrounding the project, the traffic safety warning signs around schools and villages were supplemented and improved by the project department, reminding passing vehicles to slow down. The department also carried out safety publicity activities to distribute traffic safety brochures to local students, explaining traffic safety knowledge.

Since the project department entered Nigeria in January 2018, it has always focused on helping and benefiting local communities. The construction of the project will also effectively relieve the traffic pressure from the capital Abuja to Makurdi, create job opportunities, and promote economic and social development along the road.
