Rescue and Disaster Relief

Recently, the CCCC project team in Uganda rescued and repaired the Katonga bridge along the Kampala-Masaka highway which was broken by floods due to heavy rainfall. After four full days of restoring efforts, the bridge was finally reopened to traffic. CCCC's efforts were praised by the local government and residents.
Katonga Bridge is the main bridge from Uganda to the borders of neighboring countries such as Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi, and is an important passage for trade with neighboring countries. After receiving the urgent request for help from the Ministry of Works of Uganda, the project team quickly organized professional construction teams and construction equipment for the emergency.
The Uganda National Roads Authority tweeted about the restoration works and updates.
