Rescue and Disaster Relief

CCCC's ECRL project team helps disaster relief in Selangor, Malaysia

Many regions in Malaysia were hit by heavy rains and floods in the monsoon season. Houses, vehicles and roads in Selangor were severely damaged by continuous heavy rainfall for days. CCCC's East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project recently donated 50,000 Malaysian ringgit to the state for disaster relief, aided in dredging 2 kilometers of roads and ditches within a week, and cleaned nearly 300 square meters of garbage, receiving praise and thanks from nearby residents.

Since the disaster took place, the project has been offering a helping hand to the disaster-stricken people along the line while pushing on the construction. Despite the ruthless disaster, we and local people worked together to get through these difficulties. The flowers of friendship between Malaysia and China are blooming everywhere.
