The largest bridge in southeastern China--- Baling River Canyon Bridge


Baling River Canyon Bridge is the regulatory project of Shanghai-Ruili National Expressway's trunk (GZ65) in Guizhou Province and located in plateau and hilly area in the west of Guizhou Province. This bridge adopts the solution of suspension bridge with 1088m single span, double pylons and steel truss and is the first steel-truss suspension bridge with span length more than 1000m in China. The cable support pylon is a door-type concrete pylon with two cross beams. Gravity rock-socketed anchorage is applied in the east while tunnel anchorage is adopted in the west.
