Project of Xiangjiang River Fifth Bridge in Zhuzhou City

Xiangjiang River Honggang Bridge (also known as Xiangjiang River Fifth Bridge) is another ultra-large city bridge flying over Xiangjiang River in urban area of Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. It starts from Tianyuan District of Zhuzhou City in the west, connects Lushan Road, crosses Xiangjiang River, arrives at Lusong District in the east and connects Honggang Road.
  In September 2007, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Company Ltd signed the Contract for Investment and Construction of Xiangjiang River Fifth Bridge with Zhuzhou Municipal Government and contract in the form of BT to be responsible for investment and construction of this project which is with a total investment of RMB 0.455 billion yuan and predicted to be completed in November 2010.

This project is both an urban trunk and an ultra-large urban bridge with a total length of 4461.24m including 1475.8m for main bridge. The major hole of the main bridge is provided with a 90m+150m+90m combination system of arched girder and rigid frame. The auxiliary hole has the 9×46m cast-in-situ continuous box girder. Connection line and auxiliary road are 2544.791m in length. Ramp bridge is composed of ABE and CDF ramp bridges with a total length of 440.65m.
