Fuling Lidu Yangtze River Bridge Project

Fuling Lidu Yangtze River Bridge is located in the upper reach of Yangtze River in Fuling District, Chongqing City. Its northern bank connection starts from the intersection of the central road skeleton in Lidu subarea and connect the Chongqing-Fuling Expressway. Its southern bank connects the Binjiang Road on southern bank and Yingbin Avenue through a tunnel and thus enters the urban road network, and it will connect the Fuling Railway Station.

In December 2004, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd and Construction Committee of Fuling District of Chongqing City signed a contract stating that the former contracts to build the Lidu Yangtze River Bridge Project in Fuling District of Chongqing City. This bridge, with a total investment of around RMB 0.36 billion yuan, was completed and accepted on October 20, 2007, besides, it was put into formal operation and started to collect toll on November 4, 2007.
  This project, with a total length of 822m, is designed to start from Lidu Town on the northern bank and terminate at the Longqiao Town on the southern bank. The bridge, with a total investment of RMB 349,086,300 yuan, is designed with a total width of 25.1m, two-way four lanes and walkway 2.0m in width on both sides. Its structure is composed of a concrete cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and double cable planes, 398m main span, 170mx2 side span and 84m approach bridge. The main pylon adopts H-shaped structure. Northern and southern pylons respectively stand 173 m and 172.5m.
