Students and teachers of the University of Colombo visit Colombo Port City

The teachers and students were impressed by the advanced design concepts and first-class infrastructure.
Recently, a group of 44 teachers and students from the Confucius Institute of the University of Colombo visited the Colombo Port City.
Representatives from the project department briefed the teachers and students on the overview and progress of the Colombo Port City. As a flagship project of China-Sri Lanka cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, the Colombo Port City is expected to create 83,000 job opportunities locally.
The teachers and students were impressed by the advanced design concepts and first-class infrastructure, deepening their understanding of the project and the friendly cooperation between China and Sri Lanka.
